SCOTT SABBAGH
FOUNDER / OWNER
Mr. Sabbagh oversees all aspects of each investment made by the firm. He was Director of Development for Colony Capital, LLC from 1994 until 2000, where he was responsible for the execution of residential and hotel development in the
Eastern US and select projects in Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean. Mr. Sabbagh received a B.S. in business administration from the University of Southern California and is a graduate of the Entrepreneur Program. He is a trustee of Grace Church School where he is a member of the real estate committee.
SEAN ZALKA
PRINCIPAL
Mr. Zalka is a Principal of Matrix Development LLC, having joined in 2007. Prior to Matrix Development, Mr. Zalka was the Director of Development for the Downtown Development Group a boutique real estate development and investment partnership focused on the redevelopment of historic properties in Manhattan. Mr. Zalka also spent several years as the Manhattan representative for the National Architectural Trust, where he was responsible for the origination and facilitation of façade conservation easement donations through the Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentive Program, with a total of approximately $500 million in easements working on over $3 billion worth of property. Mr. Zalka has a B.A. in English literature from Vassar College and an M.S. in real estate finance (with distinction) from New York University.
ELLIOT JONES

Elliot Jones – Construction Director
Mr. Jones is the Senior Project Manager for Matrix Development LLC. Mr. Jones brings over 30 years of construction experience and has worked at major construction management firms Bovis Lend Lease and HRH Construction Corporation and has extensive experience with consulting, general contracting, and subcontracting firms. Mr. Jones has worked with noted architects such as Phillip Johnson, Richard Rodgers, I.M. Pei, and Morris Adjmi and has experience with a wide variety of “out of the ground” and renovation/adaptive reuse projects. Project types include major hospitals such as the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and NYU Medical Center; a variety of commercial and residential buildings; dormitories and schools. Elliot received a Bachelor in Science from CUNY/Brooklyn College.
